Master Lock padlocks are warranted to be free from mechanical defects for
the life of the product. If a mechanical defect occurs, we will replace it

How long does it take to receive

The time will vary depending on the type of lock, and whether your replacement needs to be custom-built. Generally, you should receive your replacement within 3-6 weeks from the time we receive it. |

I returned a defective lock
over six weeks ago, and have not yet received a new one. How do I find out the status
of my replacement lock? |

1. Tracking number of the returned package
2. Date the lock was sent back to us
3. Model number (usually located on the bottom of the lock). If you don't know what the model number is, describe the lock to us.
4. Key number and/or combination (if it was included on Product Return Form)
You should expect a response back from us within 2 business days. |

I have a Master Lock padlock that only opens occasionally. What can I do?

I have a brass resettable combination lock that sticks from time to time. Is there anything I can do?

We recommend lubricating your lock with a light machine oil or any lubricant that does not contain graphite.
